The Stûv microMega µM stove has been cleverly designed to provide heat like a stove, but with a retractable door slides upwards so that the stove becomes an open fire. Stûv have used the term Micro to describe the internal design of the stove that concentrates the heat in the middle of the fire and enables the output to be controlled. The term Mega is used by this Flemish stove manufacturer to describe the way that the size of the stove enables the flames to spread out, which gives a beautiful display.
