The Loxton 8 is the Biggest of the Loxton range but it uses its extra size wisely giving you a large 8kW output while still maintaining high efficiencies with both wood and coal.
Like every member of the loxton family the 8 has 3 air supplies, secondary pre heated air wash, cool touch handle, adjustable feet and a whole lot more to its name and it is these features that make it such a pleasure to live with, its efficiency means you wont have to reload it every 10 minutes and the air wash means you will always have a clear view of the fire.
The entire Mendip Stoves range has been designed with the idea of ease and simplicity in mind, this is evident in the simple air controls that allow you full control of your fire and how it runs. It also inspired the idea of the additional wood grate leave it in when your burning wood to give an improved base and burning characteristics, remove it when your burning coal for improved air flow making your fire run at optimum efficiency.
